Review: boscia Tsubaki Oil Deep Hydration Hydrogel Mask

Today I'm doing a review on the boscia Tsubaki Oil Deep Hydration Hydrogel Mask.  As I've mentioned before, I have really dry skin, so when I was searching on Sephora for masks and I saw this one was a deep hydration mask, I knew I needed to try it.  This mask is $8 at Sephora, so a little pricey, but I thought if it worked it would be well worth it.  This mask is said to replenish, soften, and provide deep hydration.  It is free of preservatives, artificial fragrance, gluten, color, and ethanol.  It has several oils in it to help preserve the moisture in your skin.

So here is my makeup free before.  I was straight from the shower, where I had used the Fresh Soy Cleanser.
Here is the back of the package.  The mask comes in 2 separate pieces, which are folded in half in the package.  The mask itself is more like a silicone/plastic feel, but there is no smell to the mask itself.  The mask was a little difficult to place on the face, I didn't feel like it fit me well, and it didn't want to stick to my face.  After getting the mask on, your fingers will feel tacky/sticky.
So here is the during...please don't be scared, haha. I had to try to keep my face as "resting" as possible because I kept feeling like the mask was going to fall off!  The mask had a nice cooling effect to it, and after a few minutes, my face started to feel like it was tightening.   I did unfortunately get the mask a little too close to my left eye, so it started to burn towards the end of the time.
You leave the mask on for 20 minutes, and here is right after I removed it.  My face was a little pink right after, but not irritated at all.  My face felt a little tacky, but you want to kind of pat the oils into your face a bit to make sure they absorb.
You will follow up with your moisturizer, which I of course used my Mary Kay TimeWise Moisturizer. So here I am completely done:
My skin felt amazing!  My whole face was so incredibly soft, I was definitely impressed!  After doing this mask, I went to sleep.  I can still tell that my face is slightly softer and hydrated, but not near what it was last night.

Overall, I did like this mask, I just wish the effects lasted longer.  I may purchase again at some point, but I kind of doubt it.  I just feel like for $8 my skin should be glowing at least the following day!  I know, I have high hopes, haha.  I won't be a total downer...I did notice a difference with this one, so for that I'm happy!

Some Face Love =)

So last night as I was washing my face, I knew I needed to make a post about my fave drugstore face products=Neutrogena's Deep Clean Line. I love this stuff!! I've tried several of the products but my all time fave is the Toner (it's blue). They have recently stopped selling this product at my Walmart, however, I found it on ulta.com and bought like 3 bottles of it, trying to stock up. I use it EVERY night before bed and I love the cool tingly feeling it leaves behind. I know that some may find that it is kind of strong, but since using it I hardly break out, especially after pairing it with the acne gel from Clean & Clear I've shown before. I've also talked about the Best Bath Store toner, so if you are not really prone to breaking out, maybe only once in a while, and the Neutrogena toner is too strong, you might want to try that one.

Another product of Neutrogena's that I love is the scrub. I really like scrubbing face washes because I always feel that it makes my face feel so much better! Once again, it has that cooling sensation like the toner, and with the scrubs it makes my face feel clean, smooth, and just great at night!

They do have other products I've tried, like several of the face washes, but I really just wanted to mention my favorites. If you don't like scrubbing face washes, they also have a foaming wash that I've tried and really like as well. If your local store doesn't have these products, you might check out ulta.com, I know they still have the toner.

On a related note-I'm not sure if it is part of the Deep Clean line, but Neutrogena came out with a line that is purple, and is suppose to relax you when you used at night. Let me tell you that I didn't like that stuff at all! I bought the scrub, and it stunk so bad, and the scrubs were actually a little harsh, would NOT recommend that stuff at all!

Hope that helps!
More posts later! Have a good night!
