Lastest Haul!! =)

So last week was pay day so I of course went shopping again, haha. I didn't get too much since I'm trying to save up for MAC's Collections in July [I'm GETTING that 226 brush!!]. I did get a few items from Mac though, and then Sephora and Victoria's Secret. I made a vid recently on YouTube as well so check that out, too!

So VS is having their HUGE sale, and so I had to get things, haha. There were some more lipsticks that were $3, so I picked up two more...

1. Whisper: A really pretty tan color with a "whisper" of pink, haha.

2. Guilt Free: A gorgeous pink, that is still more of a neutral I think.

3. I also picked up some Very Sexy DARE perfume and body wash since it was half off!

Next stop: Sephora. I only went in to get another bottle of Clinique Lotion, and wouldn't you know my luck...I picked up the gel for oily skin! Geez...so now I'm going to have to take it back and get the lotion for very dry skin. On the up side I did get a sample of Sephora Brand Riviera Body Scrub...so I'll definitely have to try that out.

And finally...MAC!! I only got 3 things...I'm so good!

1. Nymphette Lipglass-This color is a lot like Hello Kitty's She Loves Candy, but with more gold. However, I love them both so I know I'll use them.

2. Rags to Riches Dazzleglass: I am so in love with Dazzleglasses right now!! I've been trying to get ones that are different, so I had to pink up this pretty pinky blue one! Absolute love!

3. Tempting Eyeshadow: Honestly, I have no idea why I felt I needed this shadow, haha. I guess since people have been saying on YouTube they had it I felt I needed it, too. Honestly though it does remind me a lot of Bronze [although Bronze is a tad redder], but it matches almost completely with Mulch, it's just Mulch is a Velvet while Tempting is a Lustre.

Here are swatches of Tempting with some shadows I think are kind of similar:

Bronze, Satin Taupe, Mulch, Antiqued (For pic above)

Here are swatches of all 4 lip products:

Nymphette, Rags to Riches, Whisper, Guilt Free

Well, that's all for now! I'll be doing some more vids with reviews, hauls, and I'm going to try another tutorial before I completely give up on them, haha. Now that summer school is over I'll have more time to really play with YouTube and on here!

Hope everyone is having a great summer! I'm actually going swimming for the first time this summer tomorrow with my sister! Hopefully I won't get too burned.

Talk you all very soon.

MAC Friends and Family Sale Haul

Hey Everyone!!

So this is just a blog about my recent MAC Friends and Family Sale Haul. I did really good...only spent $70!! I put up a vid on YouTube, but I wanted to post pics as well since I thought those would show up better.

The Haul:

1. Studio Sculpt Foundation NW15: I love this foundation, and I was getting kind of low in the other bottle so I wanted to go ahead and pick up a spare since I was getting 25% off.

2. Bisque Eyeshadow: I know this is kind of a boring e/s, but I wanted a good blending shadow. This color is just a shade or two lighter than my skintone, so I knew it would work great.

3. Vanilla Pigment: I had first got a sample of this pigment, and after using it a lot, I knew I needed to get the full size. This pigment works great as a highlight and also to add some sheen over some dark matte colors.

4. Queen Bee Lipglass: These next two lipglasses I decided I wanted after seeing people's hauls on YouTube for the Naked Honey Collection. This Queen Bee lipglass is a gorgeous coral pink color and I'm so glad that I got it.

5. She's A Star Lipglass: This is also another gorgeous color that is a light tan color. It's like a perfect summer color, and will look even better if I ever get a tan, haha.

So that's all I got!! I have another haul vid going up soon, and I recently did a nice smokey eye tutorial. The tutorial is only my second one, so it's not perfect, but I'm trying to get better. Here are some pics of the look:

Thanks for stopping by!

Pay Day Haul =)

So yesterday I went shopping =). I didn't buy too much makeup since Mac's Friends and Family sale is coming up next week and you can get like 25% off everything. I did get 2 things though because one thing is limited edition and I didn't want them to run out...the other I just wanted, haha. So below is all my Lush, Mac, and Victoria's Secret stuff...Enjoy!
I also have a video up on YouTube about my haul, so check it out if ya want, too =)
So first are my lipsticks from Victoria's Secret. They still had some of their makeup 75% off, so these lipsticks were only $3!! I really like their lipsticks because they are very smooth and feel very nice.
First was a color called Limelight. It's a very pretty Cranberry color. It's a little darker than I usually go for, but it was just too pretty to pass up! Especially for $3.

Next was Kiss Me, a gorgeous pink color! I can't wait to try it out soon.

Next stop was Lush where I HAD to get a big chunk of Rockstar...it's so amazing! I also got a sample of Porridge. Some of the gurus on YT have mentioned that it can be abrasive, but I wanted to try it out. The woman at Lush said it's really good to use before and during shaving.

I also got another bubble bar in Creamy Candy. The lady at Lush said that a lot of the pink products smell like Rockstar and she really recommended this bubble bar, so I decided to try it.

Next was a product I was interested in trying out...a bath melt. These don't make bubbles but create an oil feeling. It's suppose to be very relaxing and good for your skin. I'll have to tell you how that goes. =)

Finally I stopped by Mac, and like I said I just bought two items. I wanted to try a beauty powder blush. MakeupByTiffanyD raves about these and says they are amazing so I knew I needed to get one and try it out. I got On A Mission from the Style Warriors Collection.

I also got High Tea lipstick. This has been on my list for awhile, and I just thought it was such a good nudish pink color. I've heard from some guru videos that is a good alternative to Myth, since not everyone can pull off that extremely nude color.

Hopefully I'll have another haul blog in a week or so with the items I get from the sale =)
Hope everyone is doing well!

Reviews =)

Okay, so I know I've been slacking in the reviews category for my blog. So I thought while I have some time I should update by review list. I guess I've been putting it off because so many of the products on my review list I didn't like! However, I've got a couple products that I LOVE so I'll leave those until the end so I can leave on a good note.

First I guess I should do a quick update. Summer classes are half way over!! YEAH!! I really like my education one because I feel like it is actually helpful, but my English one is kind of boring, but I have to take it so oh well. This Thursday is pay day so be on the look out for another haul sometime after that, too! Hopefully after I get out of school I can do more on my collection series. I like doing that, since it allows for me to give feedback on things I own.

But...now on to the reviews...

1. MAC Zoom Lash Mascara-So, I think I've written about this one before, but I wanted to try it a few more times before giving a full review. Well, I have tried it a couple more times with the same result--IT STINKS!! (and no, not literally, haha) This mascara does not lengthen nor does it give volume. I'm so glad I didn't buy this mascara or I would have been extremely upset.

From maccosmetics.com "This instant volume mascara power-lifts the lashes into length, curls them up...builds them faster than you can wink! Precision control wand glides smoothly down lashes to provide a gorgeously silky upward “sweep”. Smudgeproof and long-wearing!"

Yeah right! Once again, I would not waste my money! If you want expensive, get MUFE Smokey Lash, or if you want cheaper, try Rimmel brand (the pink one) or Max Factor 2000 Calorie. (Picture from www.maccosmetics.com)

2. Best Bath Store Products-So I know I have totally talked this place up, but honestly after using the acne line for a few weeks, it stopped working on my skin and I had to go back to my old routine. I do still use the Acne soap though, because I do think it works well. Actually, I'm not sure if it's the soap or if it's because I wash my face twice now-once to get makeup off {I use Neutrogena}, the other to cleanse my skin {I use the Best Bath Store Acne Bar}. As far as the acne gel and pore refining toner, you can try it for free and see if it works for you, but I wouldn't pay for a full bottle until you try it out.

Acne Facial Bar-From Best Bath Store's Website-Best Bath Store Acne Facial Bar is free of harmful chemicals. The combination of natural ingredients such as Australian Olive Green Clay, Manuka Honey and oil, Vitamin E, and Seaweed help restore and revitalize your skin to its natural balance.

Acne Treatment Gel-From BBS site-Best Bath Store's Acne Treatment Gel is highly effective for sensitive, dry, oily, and acne prone skin types. This reparative gel contains effective ingredients such as manuka honey, aloe vera, organic extracts, and natural essential oils. Its light texture will gently restore your skin's appearance for fast, flawless results.

Pore Refining Toner-From BBS site-Infuse your skin with nourishing natural extracts that tighten and firm. Best Bath Store??™s Pore Refining Facial Toner wipes away dirt and oil, tightens pores, and leaves your skin feeling clean and refreshed.

Holiday Spice Body Bar-From BBS site- Be reminded of the charming joys of the holidays with the sweet smells of Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Orange, Ginger, and Clove Bud essential oils.

I also used one of their regular soaps-Holiday Spice Soap. It smells okay--kind of a mixed between Pumpkin Spice and Cinnamon, but it doesn't lather too well, and it scratches my skin really bad! It's actually left red marks on my skin a couple of times! Once again, I would suggest going to the website and trying out their products, since you get 5 samples for free, but I wouldn't pay for the bigger amounts until you tried them!
Intensive Under Eye Treatment-From BBS site-Brighten your best facial feature with precious natural minerals. Designed to reduce puffiness, wrinkles, and skin discoloration, this intense treatment penetrates deep for short term results. With an intricate blend of ingredient such as Soy & Rice Peptides, Watermelon Extract, Green Tea Extract, Vitamin C and E, this intensive treatment will effectively fight all signs of aging.

Another product I used from the, was the Intensive Under Eye Treatment. I honestly can't say too much about this product, because I had to stop using it after about 2 nights. It made my eyes water really bad and burn, so I stopped use. It did make my under eye feel smoother in the morning, but I thought that I shouldn't keep using the product with my eyes reacting the way they did. (All pictures and descriptions from www.bestbathstore.com)

3. Bee Royal Products-So a few weeks ago, Bee Royal had a sale going on, and MakeupByTiffanyD is always talking about their mascara, so I thought I would try some of their products. Overall I was happy with my choices.

Bee-LUSHcious Lashes Mascara-

For dramatic Bee LUSHcious lashes , our new "LUSH" formula has arrived. packed with protein to strengthen lashes and separate for beautiful eyes that add drama and sex appeal.

Lavish lashes. The hollow-fiber brush lifts and separates. Protein-rich formula builds in strength and flexibility. Nine botanicals, plus Vitamins A, E, and C condition and nourish.

Comparable to Definicils by LancĂ´me or Dior Show (from beeroyalproducts.com)
So this is the mascara that Tiffany really likes, and I have to admit it's okay. It lengthens really well, but I didn't think that it added much volume. It's a mascara I reach for when I have more of a neutral eye and don't want my lashes too dramatic.

HD Mascara-

The fullest, non-clumping, defined lashes have arrived at Bee-Luscious. This product was specially formulated to deliver the glamour of Hollywood straight to your home.

Lashes enter the digital age! This mascara will bring every lash into sharp, high-definition, focus. This lash-loving formula and innovative brush are uniquely engineered to lengthen and define.

Comparable to Sculpte Cils by Chanel (from beeroyalproducts.com)

So this mascara I bought just because they were having a sale, and I'm addicted to mascara. I thought it sounded great so I though...why not? I have to admit, it's pretty good. the wand takes some getting used to because it's so thin, and you do have to take your time since it can get clumpy if you're not careful. BUT<>

Frosted Lipstick-Fragile Pink-

Bee Luscious is proud to announce yet another incredible product. "Lead Free" FDA approved pigments and beautiful frosted colors. Lustrous, high-frost lipstick. Long-wearing. Contains vitamins and moisture nourishment to keep lips conditioned.

So this was yet another product that Tiffany talked about, haha. I've been trying to get into wearing more lipstick, and I've always been drawn to more neutral or toned down shades, and this one is perfect! I love the slight pink color, and it goes great with Baby Sparks Dazzleglass or Sugarrimmed. I'm so glad I bought this color! The formula is really great too. It's not drying at all, and it lasts for awhile too. I'm not going to say all day, but it definitely lasted a couple hours!

4. LUSH Products-So, it's officially...I've jumped on the LUSH bandwagon, and let me tell you if you haven't yet you're missing out!! This place it great, and I plan on making more purchases on Thursday.

Rockstar soap-
Sweet bubblegum soda pop soap strikes just the right chord

This best-selling, creamy soap delight may smell as sweet as sugar, but it's still just a little bit naughty; you know how rock stars are. So lather up, smile for the camera, then party all night long. Warning: This vanilla-berry handmade wonder has been known to increase singing in the shower so be careful who you give it to! (from lush.com)
So I know I've said it before but this soap is AMAZING!!! I absolutely love it and am getting a big chunk of this on Thursday if I get nothing else, haha. Definitely go immediately to your local LUSH counter and get some!!! =)

Massage Bars-

Soft Coeur
Sexy sweet seduction for the skin with milk chocolate and honey
Prepare to get messy with this deliciously romantic concoction of honey, cocoa and natural melty butters, designed for warm, sensual, full-body massages. Be careful not to melt it all at once as you might want to prolong your experience for as long as possible. Make your honeymoon last forever with our best-selling, sweet Soft Coeur. (from lush.com)

Heavanilli
Sensual vanilla heaven
When Heavenilly was presented to us in creative team meeting, we immediately put it to the test, sniffed it with enthusiasm and longing, rubbed it all over our arms. Then we brought it home with us and smoothed it all over our lovers' bodies to see what happens. Heavanilly's melty butters smell of sensual jasmine, vanilla, tonka and cinder toffee – guess what happened next (wink wink). (from lush.com)

So these are the only product from LUSH that I'm not too crazy about. I got them because they are suppose to really make your skin feel nice and smooth, but I think they just make me feel greasy. I don't think I'll be getting any more of these, but I'm glad I tried them.

Bubble Bar-

Flosty Gritter Bubble Bar

Glittery vanilla and lavender prepare you for a night on the town
Flosty Gritter is a very sparkly "girls' night out" sort of bubble bar. Mix lavender essential oil with vanilla absolute and you get a surprisingly sexy fragrance. We put a load of it in Flosty Gritter to set you up for an evening out. The name? Noriko Miura, our beloved Japanese product developer, borrowed a pot filled with frosty glitter and labeled it Flosty Gritter. We couldn't resist. (from lush.com)

So I wasn't too into this product when I got it, but I thought it was pretty, so I decided at last minute to get it, too. I'm so glad I did!!! I used some of this product the other night and it was wonderful!! It made my bath smell so good, and the bubbles felt so relaxing. I only used about a fourth of it and the bubbles lasted about 30 minutes. It's such a nice relaxing extra when you've had a tough week/day. I will definitely be trying out some other scents and getting another one of these! =)

LUSH has become my new obsession, haha. I plan on trying out all of their bath products. Next on my list is to try a bath melt and bath bomb =) Go now and try it! For you people who know me go to Fayette Mall and try some NOW!! (This is you Courtney and Vanya, haha...And you, too, Amber if you read this!) [All pictures and descriptions from www.lush.com]
I've recently got some Avon products I can review for you guys, too! =)
So I guess that's all for now! Hope you all are having a good week so far (Yes, I know it's only Monday). I'll hopefully have another blog up later this week!

Blush Collection

Continuing with my collection blogs, I decided to do all my blushes. I don't really have too many of them so I thought this would be a quick blog to do before doing my online mid-term and then going to bed. Until recently I didn't really use blushes, because I have really rosy cheeks and thought that blushes would only make me look worse. However, once I started getting into makeup I realized that blushes just give a nice glow to my skin and make it look better! Next on my list is to try one of MAC's Beauty Powder Blushes, Tiffany (MakeupByTiffanyD) raves about these, so I think I'll be purchasing one the next time I go to Mac...probably next week, haha.

So...on to the collection!

Petticoat MSF (Limited Edition)

This is such a pretty light pink color with some shimmer into it. It's light enough where it doesn't make me look crazy, but it warms up my cheeks and leaves a pretty sheen. Some people on YouTube have even mentioned you could use this as a highlight in the summer when you've got more color. Hopefully I'll get my butt in gear and start tanning and find out. =)

Love Rocks Minerialized Blush Duo

Gold violet melange/bright blue pink

Love Rocks is really pretty hot pink. When I started buying my blushes I wanted to make sure that they were all pretty different, so I felt I wasn't wasting my money. To use, I just swirl my brush over both colors to get a nice shimmering pink on my cheeks.

NARS Orgasm

This was one of the first blushes I bought. It's such a pretty peachy color, and it would compliment anyone. It's one of the most famous blushes from what I've heard and I really do think it would look good on anyone.

NARS Madly

This blush I truly bought just because of Tiffany (MakeupByTiffanyD). She used it in a tutorial and talked about how pretty it was so I felt I had to get it. It does kind of look blah in the container, but when you put it on your cheeks it this really pretty sun-kissed look.

Solar Riche Bronzing Powder

Midtone deep orange brown

This isn't really a blush, but I only have the one good bronzer so that's why it is in this drawer. I've talked about this color before, in my CCO haul, but I hadn't used it at that time. I use this product to contour with, and it works SOOO well. I had been using a Revlon bronzer before to contour, but this product was made for my skin it feels. It just blends out so well and creates a very natural coloring. This one pictured is from the Neo-Scifi Collection from MAC, but it's been re-released in the Style Warrior Collection right now, so if you don't have it you need to get it!

Well, that's the blush collection! I have some Mary Kay blushes and bronzers, but I've put those away after getting MAC. I still have them for right now, in case I need them, but I'll probably be giving them away or something soon to make room for more makeup, haha.

You guys have a good night! Look for upcoming blogs about makeup looks, more on my collection, reviews, and hopefully another small haul! =)
